How to configure Web application in Windows SharePoint Services 3.0

Hi all,

I am build a Web application and run by a pool with a unique application of Internet Information Services (IIS) Web site component. I want to know that how can i configure Web application in Windows SharePoint Services 3.0. Please suggest. Thanks in advance.
