XP Slow launch

This days my XP Slow launch in every thing like start, turn off, programs, file etc it got 30% low from the past weak i think what could be the reason ? do i have to format it or i need to get a good antivirus .

This problem might be you have virus in your pc, just scan it with Malwarebytes its free , just scan and post the result to us . If you got positive result, this might you should do after turning it on do a ctr-alt-delete you will get task manager from there see the processes and see which application is taking the most memory and remove BUT BE CARE FULL dont delete any thing else or your system will be damage see this thread for more help: How to terminate Process and Delete the Source Program with Ultimate Process Killer

I think some useless application start when you start up your Xp thats what could making it slow . Do this to stop some useless start up program :Click Start, Run, type msconfig and go to Startup. i think you dont need any program on the start of your PC , just leaving some like your antivirus or some windows application just uncheck them if you think that is not required
