Help and Support won't open

I have installed Windows XP with SP2 and I have got some problem with Windows Help, it will not open. Actually, when I click on it or press F1 then I am on the desktop and I get an hourglass icon briefly and then nothing happens. Helps for other softwares for properly, but its just the Help and Support option listed in the start menu that will not work. I actually came to know about this when I was trying to help a friend with some issues that he was having. I told him how to invite me to remotely assist him but it is not working. It can be also a firewall problem but I am going to check that after I got my help working. I have also ensured that all the critical updates are installed but still nothing? Does anyone have any solutions? Thanks

You can try to download and run the Doug Knox's fixwinxphelp.vbs to repair the Help and Support on your system. Just go their website and download the same tool.

Thanks for the suggestions. I tried some other method and went to Services.msd to change the start up to automatic. It was already set to same, so I clicked on the button to start the service and came up with an error that said the below:
"Could not start the Help and Support service on Local Computer. Error 126: The specified module could not be found."

Any ideas what this error is?
