In my system which has Windows XP on the same is having some kind of error message. The message just started on its own. Since last few days there were ample of new updates installed on my pc. Everytime when I restart my pc I can see pending updates. I think some those updates has caused the problem. I am not able to figure out which one. When the system start after a few while there is a error 2147467259 on the screen. System restore did not helped here.

Try to remove some recently installed application and then check back. I think that will be enough to fix the issue you are facing. Just go in Add/Remove program and look for Windows component. You can then remove the updates. To get more information on the problem you are facing go in Event Viewer. You can find a full description on the issue along with the file associated with the problem.
