KB951748 Problems

Is there any way to re-install this one KB to put the uninstall package back on here so I can uninstall it?

I don't have zonealarm. I have symantec. Also, why would zonealarm break ping??? that sounds odd....my web browser can still browse to all sites except the ones on the test.xxxxx.com domain which I added a an additional search suffix(in linux, it works fine...same DNS server, same DNS suffix list).

that KB is not in my list of $NtUninstallKB****$ choices :(

My folder struct is like this(any way to get raw copies of dll's, backup old files and copy the raw dlls in?)

Have you tried to reinstall Windows XP before you installed SP3? Was KB956803 (MS08-066) offered and installed? Try downloading the update from here and then installing it from your hard drive. I think that this is due to a fatal error of the Windows Update detection mechanism. KB951748 (MS08-037) isn't offered to Windows XP SP3 systems *although* Windows XP SP3 is still affected by the security hole which is aimed to be closed by KB951748.
