    Error Code 8020000D

    Hello everybody,
    today i was trying to update MS Vista 64bit and i got the error: Code 8020000D
    Update includes:
    Definition Update for Windows Defender - KB915597 (Definition 1.15.2233.6),
    Type - Important, Published - 2/8/2007
    Windows Vista Ultimate Language Packs (15) and they're optional, so i don't

    (Live Search for
    0x8020000d microsoft codes
    )

    <quote>
    0x8020000D -2145386483 BG E Destination Locked
    The destination file system volume is not available.
    Verify that another program, such as CheckDisk, is not running,
    which would lock the volume. When the volume is available,
    Background Intelligent Transfer Service (BITS) will try again.
    </quote>

    That was just an example. Another one might be that BITS would be trying
    to use a network volume as a temporary download location and wanting to
    create a directory there but not having the necessary permissions to do that.
    Etc.

    Always check the log for the context of the code. There are usually
    useful clues in it. If necessary you may have to enable verbose logging.
    Ref. KB902093

    Alternatively, supplement any logging with traces of the registry and file
    accesses being done by using ProcMon (downloadable from TechNet.)

    Good luck
