Numark iDJ3 is not working properly with Virtual DJ pro

I have been using Virtual DJ pro and I have recently bought Numark iDJ3 for my computer and I have connected the speaker using the RCA cables and I have also plugged my headphones to the iDJ3 and the problem that I am having with this is that when I am trying to play a song before putting into the master mix then I am not able to get the sound in the headphones/speakers I have tried to change the configuration and the only thing that is working out for me is setting the configuration to master, is there anyone who has faced the same and has an idea about solving it out?

Before I suggest you both about this I will suggest you make sure that you have done the following:
    • Registered your Virtual DJ pro serial no on the official page of the virtual dj
    • You are having the latest version of the virtual dj that is v7.0.4 from the official download center

If you have not done the same then do it now and then let me know for further help.

Yes I have done the same before and I am also having the latest version of the virtual dj that you have mentioned, I don’t think that there might be any issue because of the registration and all, is there any workaround to get it work fine??

OK, just make sure that you are setting the sound configuration as below:
    • Inputs: None
    • Outputs: Headphones
    • Sound card: 2 cards

Select both the cards in the drop-down lists for the IDJ3 and then click on apply also check that the powered stereo speakers are plugged in to the master outputs which will be behind the console and also plug the headphone in to the socket of the console as well
If that is not working then you can use a 2x RCA to 3.5" headphone jack cable and then connect it to the master output of the console followed by the line input to your computer. I think that any of these methods should solve the issue.

I have just now updated the firmware and the other problem that I have started facing is that the idj3 is now not communicating with the VirtualDJ software and I don’t know why I am able to see the keylock and cue buttons, they were not there before updating the firmware, I just wanted to know that is there any solution to switch back to the original firmware that I was having??

I don’t think that there should have been such issue with the VirtualDJ software, this issue is appearing to be messing with the legal terms better contact the virtualdj support and check what they have to say about the same.

Even I need some help regarding the virtual dj and it is just that is it possible to select both the cue that is “A” and ‘B’ at the same time on the Numark iDJ3?? I am willing to hear both sounds from the headphones. I have been trying out all the possible solution by now but then it is just not making any difference. Any help regarding the same will be appreciated.

As far as I am aware of the VirtualDJ LE it is not possible because this software is limited but then I have found that you can do the same in the full VirtualDJ Professional, in the full version it is possible to change the from “select” to “pfl” which allows you to select more than one deck. I also wanted to add that the iDJ3 that you are having come with VirtualDJ LE then you can just upgrade to the VirtualDJ Professional and you will get discount as well, just check out the same in the buy section of the virtualdj homepage.
