HP Media Smart DVD does not play all blu-ray DVD

I have HP Pavilion Elite HPE-240f desktop computer and I am facing problem with this computer. In my computer whenever I insert blu-ray disk at that time HP media smart does not play disk. Sometimes it plays blu-ray disk properly. I don’t know what is wrong but this problem is really frustrating for me. please tell me what should I do to solve this problem?

Are you facing this problem while playing any particular blu-ray disk in your computer or you are facing this problem with all the blu-ray disk on your computer? if you are facing this problem with all blu-ray disc then problem might be with your system otherwise problem is with your blu-ray disc.

I will suggest you to try to solve this problem by troubleshooting this problem from the HP Support Assistant. I am telling you this because I was also facing same problem with my computer and after that I have open HP Support Assistant and after opening that I have troubleshoot optical drive problems and after doing that my problem get solved. I think you should also try this solution and then your problem will get solved.

You have to first open HP Support Assistant in your computer and after opening the HP Support Assistant in your computer you have to select troubleshoot option. Now you have to select utilities option and then you have to go to the storage device. Now after going in to the storage device option you have to select optical device option. Now you have to start the test and then check what the result is.

If it fails the test then it means problem is with the blu-ray drive in your computer.

I have read your problem and I would like to tell you that you have to install cyberlink PowerDVD 11 in your computer and after installing the PowerDVD 11 player in your computer you will be able to play all the blu-ray disks without facing any problems.

You can also try Imgburn software in your computer. You should download imgburn from the internet and after that you have to install In your computer and then you have to play blu-ray disk in your computer and check whether it makes any difference or not. In my computer I am also using Imgburn application and I am very happy with this software. You should also try this software.

I have downloaded powerDVD from the internet and after that I have installed that in my computer and after installing the power DVD in my computer all the problem get solved. Now I am not facing any problem with my computer. Thank you for helping me.
