    How to multiply the same number in all numeric cells in Excel

    Recently I was trying to do the multiplication of the same number in the entire cell which are having the numeric data in Excel sheet, I have try many thing and also visited several links to do this query but however I fail to do that, so if you guys have any of the information or any of the ideas for creating such macros or function in excel, then please let me know. I have a sheet, where all numerical values have to be multiplied by a conversion factor of 1.250 how can I achieve this?

    According to my information this is simple to do this thing in Excel, so for that you just have to enter your conversion factor in an empty cell, copy it and select the cells you want to convert. Then right click, choose Paste Special, under Operation select multiply, and OK. By the way, I'm still using Excel 2008 but I guess it's much the same in your excel.
