how to Create/Save/Load an equalizer setting file in vlc media player.

hi friends i am with the vlc media player, and experiencing some sound trouble in my speakers for the reason as i disturbed by settings in the media player. i am unable to get it back . i wanted some measures to have it back. in addition to this when i make other settings other time i need to create save and load the settings of vlc media player . can you provide some solutions to me as i can do it easily in windows media player. trying to know the same in vlc media player.

1. in the vlc media player, open a playable song and then proceed to the remaining settings.

i think the below mentioned process could be possible to save your equaliser settings.

1. in the Audio, enter the Filter and then tick check box "Equalizer with 10 band" to enable the setting
2. Audio>>Filter>>Equalizer.
3. It appears to be keep Preset as "Flat".
4. make a specification of gains for each of the 10 bands, in +-20 db range.
5. to keep "0 0 0 0 0 10 14 20 20 20" will add considerable for treble boost for example.
6. Global Gain is the equalizer overall gain factor, generally set to zero.
7. Save afterward.
8. these preset settings will be in effect after you start the vlc but if you pop up the graphical equalizer it will display a flat setting. You can have a check/uncheck for the box in this UI to enable/disable your custom preset, but the actual custom setting is not to be reflected by the graphical equalizer bars.

i tried with the RC2 (nightly) build and made a test for the file type .mp3 and found that .mp3 is not listed when selecting a file from your drive and the way to solve it is by means of selecting "all files" to have mp3 listed.

there are problems after you tried with the settings of equalizer, that you are unable to load the settings on the playable sound and the song gets the default settings by itself and you come across the same sound which previously occurred. so here you should make sure that you properly set the equalizer settings for the current playlist.

there are generally built-in presets where you can ask for the vlc for loading by means of equalizer setting in preferences which is present in the drop-down. the other option available here is by loading by means of own equalizer bands, which is independent of any preset name.

• Starting the music,and then set EQ to "POP" preset, enable EQ, afterward turn up last two high frequency sliders.
• afterward stop the music which was on.
• open EQ window after starting the music again.

if you tend to have problems with the sound after adjusting the sound and saving the equalizer, then you should remove the current vlc media player and make a re installation of it afterward and then save the settings. but check for the default sound previous to you do this.

the process to do this is simple in the default windows media player. it seems some difficult in the vlc media layer as there are less hints to do so. though all the files are not played in default player and thats why most of the users prefer to have a vlc media player. in my case i made a save and created the settings of equalizer and it works very fine for me. hope it also works in your case.
