Viewable size is larger than the slide and auto resizes upon paste in PowerPoint 2010.

i make use of power point as there is a need for doing so to work with the presentation project. there seems to be problems occurring in the editing of image. pasting of an image in power point into PowerPoint 2007 leads to re size the viewable image down to the size of the insert box . but in the cases you are making use of PowerPoint 2010, it appears as it is the same viewable size as the original. and the image appears to be larger than the slide. PowerPoint 2010 enables to insert a screenshot or picture and it will only take up the insert box, but the basic requirement of some one is that he should be able to copy and paste rather than inserting. the thing to manually re size the image is making me irritated and time consuming. please suggest some method of when you try to paste the image, it is able to fit in the slide which is of viewable size .

i can say that there is another method to do this, free PPTools StarterSet addin provides a set of gadgets which is useful to do so. here by making use of this i am quite sure that your problem can be solved with which you were talking about.

hi guys, i can find some solution to this and most probably to workaround for this problem there is a convenient way,in PowerPoint 2010 . to do so, you should try by pasting into the slide, the contents of the clipboard . i think here the situation will be that it will always fill the slide not assuming the matter what is selected or which paste is used for doing so. and according to my assumption, the solution to this is to Cut (Ctrl + X) the picture from inside of PowerPoint, then paste it by means of Ctrl + V, back with the selected content object . by this i can say that there could be possible solutions for your problem.

here, the power point makes use of the content box as a boundary. and the thing in this case is that the a new picturebox will tend to view at 100% size, when you paste picture from another application and place it in the clipboard. i can explain with a example, a new picturebox will view at 100% size if you tend to paste it with the help of OneNote's "Screen Clipping" tool.

for this to do , there can be alternative method, for this to solve, click the screen or program you wish to copy to PowerPoint. then you will appear to see"Insert" toolbar, on this, click "Screenshot", "Screenclipping". choose the screen window of your size and wish you wish for. here, after doing this, you will be able to size the image automatically to the slide.

hey i am not able to understand in which manner did you select a suitable content placeholder? i am getting a content box on a slide, i doubt whether to click on it or not. while performing i am unable to re size the image and the problem continues. as our performance analysts paste the similar kind of work and there are several problems because of the
loss of functionality which is taking additional time for doing this.

there is a situation where some users find it difficult in using gadgets of StarterSet add in which are tools of power point. if suppose if you memorize with nothing selected, the tool by itself will memorize the size of the slide. after this, to size the selected shape to match the slide, have a selection over something and click the "hammer" icon . this is just the thing you should consider in this case. and further if you wish for the shape to be made as large as possible without distortion, then you are able to do this as you have the option to do this. and to do this, simply force the size (ie, distorting if need be) or if you want to maintain the aspect ratio.

i think that really makes some one irritating. but the solution can stand in this case. try by clicking the inside of a content placeholder . it will show some thing as first of a set of bullets. after this just, paste a large picture and it will re size to fit inside it at the time of maintaining aspect ratio. this will some how try in sorting out the problem.

hi guys, as stated above there is not exact solution for it, but to further there are some other alternatives to do so. selecting the placeholder rather than inside it seems to work . depending on pixel size and dpi settings , if you don't have anything for selection then the picture will be shown in full size . i think the other for resizing would work possibly for place holders containi8ng picture only and in addition with mixed content. for title holders i can say oddly that there is no working possible. it goes huge again after having the title selected. according to me the best way it will work when you are insisting on to create a new slide master with a layout to suit if you want to paste in pictures which fill the slide. when drag and drop does not work there is a problem going that they tend to go huge.if you perform a 'proper' copy and paste then it is easy to do a re size . by this i can say that there will be proper solution coming your way.

hey, i found some the method of resizing , to do a re size previous to you perform a paste. select a suitable content placeholder and try to have a paste, if there is no allowance of the mentioned previously.

an additional to tell about the the PPTools Starter Set is that it is a free set of useful tools which enable s for PowerPoint to work on an easier platform in addition with serving as more conveniently making use of tools. more useful tools are being developed with the help of Starter Set Plus upgrade. the things which it performs can be stated as follows.
the reason why we make use of this tool can be its easier and faster use than PowerPoint's View, Zoom command with accordance to zoom tools.
you are able to place multiple pictures or shapes in exactly the same position and you can be able to do this on many slides or to automatically size pictures and shapes to fill a slide .
by making use of standard Windows file you will have tools which let you import pictures which acts faster than PowerPoint's dialog box.
