konica minolta printer problem with windows 7

Hi All

I am using windows 7, 32 Bit, I have added a network printer to my laptop and all it does

is print around 50 pages of unkown settings. Im using a Dell laptop.

If I try to print a normal word document, it prints a load of rubbish i dont know from were.



I do not need to drivers, Win 7 has autometic drivers for the printer. I have tried to

search the net for win 7 konica minolta printer drivers and there is no current one, it says

win 7 is compatible with this printer. Were is the problem? Were is this printer settings

coming from.



Im the only one not printing, all the users on the network can, So it should be my device.

What is the model no. of the konica minolta printer that you have? I also had exactly the very same problem with Pagepro 1350W and to solve this issue you may try this. Under windows update this update is showing as KONICA MINOLTA - printer - KONICA MINOLTA PagePro 1350W. Connect the printer (and turn on), go to Windows Update, search for updates and hopefully it will be there.

Its a KONICA MINOLTA bizhub C20 PLCe, under windows update, there are no updates listed for the printer. and windows is up to date.???

Have you tried to clean everything with a vacuum, brushed it out, blown it out, cleaned every contact that you can find, and used cotton swabs on every optical sensor lens. Try to also remove the feed roller in the bottom and wash it, update the printer firmware to the latest available, and make sure the printer driver is up to date by finding the drivers from the konica website and not through windows update.

The OS is windows 7, there are no drivers for it on konica websibe, its
supposed to be compatible. Automatic drivers recommended.

Brief me more on Windows update? Because the printer is not listed on windows update but its connected.
