Dell PC suite - Phone Connection Wizard not working

I am using Dell streak mobile and it is very nice mobile. In m mobile am using android Android 2.1 and now I want to upgrade my mobile with Android 2.2. Before I upgrade my mobile to android 2.2 I have to take backup of all the data and that is why I have installed Dell PC suite in my computer and after doing that it is not showing me Connection wizard and because of that I am not able to connect my mobile and unable to take backup of my data. Please give me some solution.

I think something went wrong while installing the Dell pc suite in your computer and that is why you are facing this issue. According to me you should first remove the Dell pc Suite from your mobile and after that restart your computer. now after doing that you have to install the Dell pc suite again in your computer and after that check whether Phone Connection Wizard is working or not. I think after trying this method your problem will get solved.

If you are still getting the same problem after trying above solution if Phone Connection Wizard is still not working then I think you have to first download the Dell PC suite from internet. While downloading the Dell PC suite check whether any updated version of Dell PC suite is available or not, if you get any updated version then download it and after that install it in your computer. Now after doing that Phone Connection Wizard will start working and you will be able top take the back up of all your data.

Well my connection wizard is working properly now. After reading your above post I have downloaded Dell PC suite from internet and after that I have installed in my computer. Now after doing that Phone Connection Wizard is working fine now but after that when I tried to connect my Dell streak with my computer at that time my computer doesn’t recognize my dell streak. Please tell me what I should do to get rid of this problem.

According to me you have to first check that whether you are able to connect your Dell streak with other laptop or computer. if you are able to connect your Dell streak with other laptop or computer then I think you have to reinstall the USB driver and I if you are not able to connect your mobile with other computer also then I think there might be something wrong with your Dell streak.

Well I have read your above trick and after that I have tried to connect my mobile with other laptop and when I connect it at that time I didn’t get any problem. Now after that I have removed USB drivers from my system and then I installed it again. Now after reinstalling the USB driver in my system when I connect Dell streak with my system at that time it worked fine. Thank you so much for helping me and solving my problem.
