How to access DVD with a different format to windows.

Hi, I have an old disc dvd-r that I have recorded video from a camcorder with a DVD. Now the thing is that the player who originally recorded it in and havint been able to play the disc in any system. When you insert the DVD, windows says it is damaged or in a different format. I know that isn't damaged disc. Does anyone know how I could access the contents of the DVD and convert to a compatible format?

First, if you can not read anywhere else, how do you know that the disk is not damaged or scratched, or the dye does not have anything? You may not know that there is a problem with the disk unless you can read in a second device. Since you can not read anything (I am assuming you tried different 3-4-5 and computer DVD drives or whatever you have to try more), I guess the disc is bad, and the recording format DVD wrote can not be read by a computer. Have you tried a component layer DVD or just one on a computer?

I think you must try using the klite codec pack may be the necessary codec file is missing in it so that’s why any of your system is not recognizing the DVD of the system. so try downloading and installing the codecs in the system and you will be getting a perfect solution for it, so that’s what I want to say here hope you all have got the necessary information on the topic, so that’s my necessary suggestion for you hope you liked it.

I think so you must work out with this above first solution I think that’s the perfect one well you also get an easy access to all the converters these days so you can check out that as well, so do check it out as well. May be the format with which you had written the CD is not supported by your media player and hence try using the other converters that are available in the internet these days and convert the videos accordingly that’s what I think is the perfect solution for you.

The tactics that you have applied here were quite awesome and hence what i feel is that giving a try for the above suggestions is worth.
