How to convert .chm to pdf application for MAC OS

Hey guys, I have just bought a new Mac pc , I had been previously working on windows on my older pc , but then I thought that I should upgrade myself to something newer and better and off course more stable operating system, hence I bought a new Mac desktop pc ,I am new to this os so I am having a problem trying to convert file in the .chm format to .pdf format . Please help me out as without that I won‘t be able to do any of my work.

There are really less application that work with Mac os for converting the .chm file and .pdf extension because the .chm file are encoded using hyper text markup language. This type of document mostly contains text, images and links to other WebPages. So unless and until you have a proper application to do that, you might lose on the hyperlinks or the images contained in the file. You can viewing the.chm file extension on Mac beware to view it using xCHM , because you can view it using a web browser because that may lead you to an error. Which type of software you want paid or free? Let me know because both have different working ways.

Did you mean complied html type when you mentioned .chm , if yes then there are two ways of doing that, one by htmldoc and the other by using chm2pdf . There are are many complexion in doing that on your Mac .You can even use the grind soft chm decoder for that , this software decode ‘s yours .chm file in to an htmldoc file. To use Chmdecoder open up chm decoder. Open the file that you want to convert into pdf . And then select the directory to which you want to save your file and then click on decode tab, this will decode your .chm file to htmldoc type. Then by using any pdf converter you can convert the html doc file into a pdf.
