Unable to update Quicktime Player X

Hello friends. Greetings to all. I have an issue. It would be really nice if someone can help me to get out of it. Basically, I have installed snow leopard but the problem that is occuring is that quick time player is remaining in version 7 . Can anyone tell me how can I take hold of quick time player X. I am unable to downgrade from apple website, I am not able to figure out why such a thing is happening . I really appreciate that you took out time and replied for me.

Hi. Firstly, I would like to bring to your notice that quick player 7 will be available only in case quick time pro key was there when the installation was going on. In that sense, also if specification was made as a part of the custom install or also we can take into consideration individual downloading. I hope now you understand my point which I have put forward . Mac OS x 10.6 comprises of quick time edition 10.0 and also 7.6.3. Thanks.

Hello. I will let you know that snow leopard update 10.6.4 will include an update to 7.6.6 only in the case if installation is done. Also, you will have to keep in mind that only quick time 7.6.3 or in that case 7.6.6 can be restructured to Pro. The most important thing is that Quicktime 10 should be present in your Applications folder, whereas Quicktime Player 7 should be in your Utilities folder. Hi. Just read properly what I tell you .I would insist you that you open quick time and just check whether it says quicktime is in the top left hand side corner of the screen which is next to the apple button. In case if that’s the case, then it should happen in this way only. If you wish to play a movie then you should go to finder and then find a movie to commence. Just check what I told .
