I made the jump from XP to Windows 7. In XP I had the opportunity to edit any file metadata and key words occur in a PDF file. Windows 7 has done away with "keywords" and has been a "cloud." I like this system better, but what I find terribly frustrating is that there are many types of files that I cannot add tags.
- Is there any way to add "tags" in PDF (in a form that works with the Windows 7 Search labeling system)?
- If not, is there any solution (3 Part downloads - working in the metadata system Windows 7 labeling)?
- If not, is this something that will be corrected in Windows in the future.
- What is the cause for the types of files for example: PDF, TXT, and MP3 not have "tags" ability?
