How to stop update notifications for a single application

I have an application which works very well as it is and in this I do not want to go for any extra functionality or GUI tweaks, and for the last update to the application, there were some GUI modification that I did not akin to, but luckily I had backed up the previous version, so I uninstalled this and try to install it through the backup. The application still shows up that in the market there is an update available, and I would like to remove it. But related to this I am not able to find it along with any amount of hunting. So if you have any suggestion on it then please help me. And please if you know that what am I missing in this then please focus on that.

After reading all this over here I do not think that there is a choice for this but over here although I could be wrong related to it. But if there has been ads added so related to it I will advise you to allow those adds. I suppose this application was free? It is only fair to get paid for it particularly when it is not out of your pocket. And for what it's worth I am not allied along with one in any way, shape, or form.

Here before reinstalling your application you just clear the Android Market cache as much I know about it then it is a protected directory regrettably, you are going to require root. Once you root your phone, task-kill Market, then erase the files which is available in to the /data/data/ android.vending/cache. You are able to do this along with a file manager program that know root, or shell right of entry by running "adb shell" and saying "su". Once you complete this, you should reinstall the application through backup, and it should no longer come into view in your Market Downloads list. This worked on my Droid which is recently running on to the Froyo, stock except for being rooted. So I know that’s all I hope you will get idea through this.

You are able to simply long press on the application and make sure the option which is labeled "never update this application". I make use of appbrain and its extraordinarily easy. I presently tried it in the market and that option is not there. On the other hand, there is an choice to delete the updates. After searching a lot about it I have get this information. So I hope this will help you in order to get rid from the same matter.
