Method to fix Dr. Watson?

Yesterday, I had a crash and therefore I opened the Dr. Watson utility but it was not having any record of crash. When I opened the applications error window then I found that it was blank. Within the log file, there was a Dr. Watson folder. That was also not having any record of crash. Today morning, I got a Microsoft crash analysis report. I thought that report was sent to Microsoft. Do you have any suggestion that why this is happening and how can I confirm that the Dr. Watson is up and running. Thank you.

Normally a crash creates dump files in the system and if you have enabled the error reporting then this will be send to Microsoft. Usually it is a mini*.dmp file which is there in the user-defined temp directory. If you want to view any recorded detail then you can use the event viewer which is there in administrative tools. You can also press start and run and there you have to type drwtsn32.exe. Press Enter and you will be able to create log but it need not to be created.

I think that the Dr. Watson utility which is installed in your computer is corrupted and that is why it cannot list the crash on its log. My suggestion to you is to install that again. Before installing this you should remove the existing one completely. If possible then you should search for the latest driver on internet. Download and install it to your computer. This will solve the problem for you.

I am agree that reinstalling Dr. Watson utility may solve the problem for you but before moving to re-installation you should try to repair it. Click here to download the repair utility for the Dr. Watson. After downloading this, install that to your computer and I am sure that this will help you to fix the bugs with Dr. Watson utility. One of my friends has given me this link. He used this software when he was getting somewhat similar problem.
