Dell computer program CD is not available

I am thinking of buying a Dell desktop PC at my place and will replace with the old one at my place. Now when i was going through the manual i found a good PC and i went to order. On which i was informed that the dell computers now no longer comes up with the software CD. They said that i have to make a copy of the software program's CD myself if i needed the programs backup. So i wanted to ask whether i can create the copy of the CD with my machine itself. If yes then how? Please suggest me something.

Even i got to know about this. Well they have informed it lately that the latest systems that come with the windows 7 operating system will not be provided with the backup CD or the programs CD. So what you have to do is to get the programs written in the blank CD/DVD or create a back up CD/DVD. Windows 7 provides you the option of getting the data backup. You must try that option which will help you recover the data in the computer.

Hey thanks for the reply. I just have some query. As i am new to the working of the windows 7 operating system. So i am completely unaware of the properties and the settings related to it. So i heard that we can recover the data in the windows 7 operating system. Could you please explain me in detail on how to carry on with the procedure. As you can understand i don't have much knowledge about this. So i would be glad if you will be able to answer my query.

Well i can surely help you with this one. Well what you can do is to have a one or more copy of the blank DVD. Upon that you must have a DVD reader and a DVD writer software which burns the DVD like Nero. Follow the instructions that i am giving now
1 Click on Windows button and then go to properties
2 Dell DataSafe Local Backup 2.0 folder
3 Click on the particular file.
4 Create my recovery disk and then click next.
5 After that insert the DVD and burn the DVD in the drive
6 After the disc's are created then click finish
