Lenovo ThinkPad fingerprint feature not working in windows 7

Hey guys I have facing some problem while working with my laptop. I have ThinkPad T500 laptop that has Microsoft Windows 7 operating system, processor of Intel core 2 Duo @2.6GHz, RAM about 2GB and has a 160GB hard drive. This operating system I have installed recently and this will be used by the LENOVO ThinkPad fingerprint. Everything is working well but there is some problem with the Fingerprint Reader. I can’t get the access to this feature means I can’t work on the system by this feature and you know what that I don’t have any knowledge about BIOMETRIC feature. So is there is anybody has a ideas about this problem that how to solve this situation please give it to me, I want to know that what the hell is happening to my system, is there is any problem with my laptop or what? Any suggestion would make me happy please share some information.
