    Quicktime troubles appear user-specific

I have installed the Quicktime in my computer. Before exploring the entire issue I would like to tell that this problem happens with only one particular account and to my bad luck, it is my account. It is running without any issue in all the other user’s accounts.

Now, the problem is that I am not able to play the videos when I login with my account. All other users can play it without any issue. Whenever I try to play any then sometimes it becomes very choppy or creates the synchronize problem with the audio. Is that problem is with the player or with my account. If it with the player then hoe others can use it and if it is with my account then please tell me that how can I solve this. Thank you.

Hey, it’s very interesting. There may be a number of these user-specific QuickTime troubles which is related to your account. To fix this issue, you have to uninstall the Quicktime by logging in as an Administrator and again install that to your computer. This will creates new files in the system drive for the QuickTime and will reset the permissions for that. Log off from the Administrator account and again login with the account that was having problem earlier. This will solve the problem for you.

You can try it to run as Administrator. To do that, you have to go to the start menu and right click on the Quicktime icon or you can directly right click on the Quicktime icon from the desktop, if that is there. From the options that popups, you have to select the "Run as Administrator". This may ask you for the administrator password then provide the same. Click ok. See whether that helps you or not.

OK, you can try the suggestions that are provided above to see whether that solves the problem for you or not. If you are able to solve this then it is fine and if it does not help you then the only option left for you is to delete the existing account and create a new account for you but make sure that you have tried all the possible solutions and make this as a last option for you.
