I mostly make use of my Mac for surfing or browsing the internet. I also get a Win.DAT files through email. But I am unable to open it on my system. how to open this or any .DAT file on my Mac. I do receive some of the useful information which is having the extension .DAT. but i can't get it. i try to open it but it doesn't get open. please help me to open it.

It shows garbage like that over and over again. If I forward the message on to a windows user it is fine! What gives?
