    Forwarding problem in Windows Mail

    Hopefully someone can help me.
When I forward an e-mail that has a picture in it the recipient does not get the picture, only the text and a box where the picture should be with a small X in the top left corner.
I am using Windows Mail in Vista and my security is Kaspersky 2010.
I can send my own pictures with no problem.

    Thank you

    Warren

Re: Forwarding problem in Windows Mail

Most probable, rather than them inserting the actual image, the commercial emails are including a link in the code to the image and something is wrong with that. If you have a friend proficient of embedding an image, you might have them send you one. If that works as well, it has to be a dilemma with the "commercial emails." From time to time if you are scanning emails with an anti-virus, it might slip the email. Anti-virus scanning of emails isn't obligatory and should be turned off. If it doesn't cause a problem today, it will beyond down the line. Email scanning is redundant at best and injurious to the email database at worst. I think you got what I want to say. Even after that if the problems is still persisting then you will have to uninstall and reinstall Windows Mail.
