To resolve this issue you have to place the Norton Removal Tool (NRT) on the Desktop and not on the disk or my papers but only the desktop. No client-based programs shall be administration, which means that you shall exit all the programs except Windows background programs and services. Previous to you run the tool, you must uninstall Norton from the Control, Panel, in the Programs and Features. Reboot the laptop, Login and now run the NRT software. Finally reboot the laptop to see the changes has taken place.

There seems to be a problem in the operating system that you are using that is Windows 7. The solution to this is the re-installation of the windows 7 operating system in the laptop that will allow you to overcome these problem, if the problem then exists then install other operating system and then try the Windows 7 after that that might help to fix the issue.

To resolve this problem you have to follow the following steps in a proper way to install the operating system; put in the Windows 7 boot DVD in the Laptop. Then Restart the laptop and as soon as the Laptop comes in the command prompt “Press any key to boot from CD or DVD…_” appears then press Enter button. Some time back when you enter the Windows 7 boot line up on the DVD, you’ll see a message dialog box with a big install button in the center after that choose Repair your computer option which is a link label. System Recovery Options dialog appears decide the first choice selection Startup Repair (mechanically fix harms that are preventing Windows from preliminary). Follow the rest of the steps on screen that will resolve your issue of the operating system and of the anti-virus.
