Security options provided on Microsoft Office 2010

What are the new additions in part of security in Microsoft Office 2010. Today online threats and infection through applications is very much common. In that matter I also think that hackers might now leave Microsoft Office aside. What are your recommendations for that. Does their is any vulnerability present in this new edition. There are lots of new support provided for that. The one which I know is Co-authoring. This is a new support which offers you a simultaneous editing. This helps to low down the administrative work. Like for example administrative work which is associated with team working. Here you cannot comprise the security of the application with your most important documents.

Office 2010 is a pack of different applications which does not includes one tool. You have both offline and online applications. Like Outlook which downloads your mail on your hard drive. Now there is a group message support which is much more secure. It also allow you to clean up and ignore some messages which you do not want at all. This tool is also capable of removing all the duplicate messages from your inbox.

The best support for new users in this is a tip box which pop-ups at the startup and in between to guide the user for different processes. When you try to compose a mail then this tips guide you send a clean message. It is also not enough that you only use the office suite and think that is secure. You must also have a good internet security support in your system for future prevention.

There were some vulnerabilities in the beta version of Microsoft Office. Microsoft wants these attacks effectively addressed through the integration of a read-only mode in the representation of office documents. The plan is to present this in protected mode process areas, in a so-called sandbox to block any potential malware attacks in the bud. Another protective measure is the planned Office File Validation.

Our system gets infected mostly when are working online. This is the only possible way which cause infection in the system and you cannot do much in that. It is also possible to broadcast a slide show. This slide show option lets you to present the same directly from the Powerpoint application. So you are somewhere safe in conversion and attaching up a file.

The outlook connector is not a threat actually but a utility to make your work much easier. You can easily manage access of your Windows Live Mail, Hotmail or Office Live Mail accounts. In addition to that you can also use your calendar, tasks, notes, and contacts. You can also manage your web-mail accounts in the comfort of Outlook. Hotmail Outlook Connector is a free solution for managing e-mails and contacts from Windows Live Hotmail to Outlook.
