vlc mozilla plugin does not play wmv

When I try to install VLC player at that time after getting install on the OpenSuse 11.1 Kde 4.2 in this is not able to play WMV/asx files that is VLC Mozilla plugin. And at the time when I would like to engage in recreation a WMV/asx file with the VLC Mozilla plugin at that time it only shows that video is loading. And time when I try to play the similar video in the VLC media player at that time it works without a single of the issue. And for the other videos I used Mozilla plugin example of other video is like mp4. And I do not have any issue before installing the new VLC. So tell me any solution if you aware from it.

Regarding this I don’t have any idea. Actually I am also facing this issue but the matter is till now I am not able to get any of the satisfactory answer. But from the Google I got the link of one of the forum site but my bad luck is there is no any solution is there related to this. I have also no any solution. Just try to get help from my uncle who is software engineer. I think he has any of solution regarding this.

Because I am able to inform from end to end testing, the present plugin versions for VLC will not support input of ASX or several additional kinds of playlist wrappers. The plugin does work by means of person files although but just correctly for Internet Explorer, Safari, and Firefox. In Chrome and Opera the Mozilla plugin clash through and get over entrenched WMP players. Opportunity to open a .asx playlist in a straight line in VLC throughout "Open Network Stream" does work as does tick on an .asx file as long as file relations for asx are locate to undo wit VLC. However this is not the similar as implanting VLC in a webpage. Please here can any one tell me here that how to make .asx file.

I am also facing the similar problem at this time. The plug-in have to be out of order at this time is a good example: If somebody could play this with VLC plug-in Katsomo.fi and inform me how to perform it. I have Ubuntu 64bit FF 3.6.3 and VLC 1.0.5 installed and VLC plug-in works but these wmv/asx media files just do not work. I have all the codec’s wanted for play media!

Whatever you are telling to do I have did that exactly but the issue is that this is also not working in my case. Actually before this I have searches a lot regarding this I am also in trouble because of this. But I am not able to get any right solution of this. Then I have tried your solution also but the same thing is here also not able to get the solution. Please if you have any other solution then pleas post this as soon as it is possible for you.

I have also faced this but around two month back. When I was struggling with this issue a t that time I have searched a lot related to this issue then from the Google I got the link of the one of the forum site and I have read there that it is happen sometimes because of the virus issue also. So I think just scan your Pc with the updated anti virus may be it can fix your issue.

Thanks guys, actually when I have seen your post then I think it will not that much perfect solution of my query but then I have tried it. I was very happy because my problem gets solved. I have just scan this through the antivirus and I got my solution in the better way And then I have told this to my friend also which is facing the same problem. And it is really great fix.
