    GIF files crashes Safari

    Hello,
I have a mac os x operating system and safari crashes when I try to play GIF files. For previous version of safari the problem was same and still it is persists. I am hoping that safari team will fix the bugs soon. If you know how to fix this error or have an patch of Safari browser then please let me know? Thank you.

    Hello,
I have not used safari browser yet, but I do not think that apple will keep such a bug in their browser. As every one knows that Apple Mac OS X is the best operating system and all other products by mac are of best quality. So, I do not think so, still I will install the browser on my system and see if this is true.

    Hello,
Even I use mac os x and I am comfortable with my safari browser. I search for various topics on forums sites and I see number of gif images on that site, but my safari browser never crashes. May be your computer is infected with virus, so I recommend you to scan your computer once and then reinstall safari browser.

    Re: GIF files crashes Safari

    Hello,
If I see or use any low quality gif images in the safari browser it just goes slow and if the quality of the gif image is high then the browser crashes. I regularly update my safari browser, when ever there are new updates available on apples's site I update them. I have scanned my computer and there are no virus in it. So, I think this is the bug of safari browser. Any more discussion or suggestions on this topic are appreciated. Thank you for your replies.

The Safari problem with displaying multiple gif's on a page. The gifs are built in a slow tempo. You can see the pictures properly, as they are built and in addition also they flash slowly until you can see the next page. I have not idea why safari is behaving like this? If you guys have any idea regarding this then please let me know. Thank you for your help in advance.
