Good morning,
Specs:
Outlook 2007
Windows Server 2003
Exchange 2003
I have a user who has been experiencing issues with Outlook hanging a few times per week with "Preparing to send/receive" displayed in the bottom task bar. Outlook is not locked because we can navigate through the emails, calendar, tasks, etc, but her Outbox has emails waiting to be sent and new emails are not being received.
We can close Outlook but when you view the processes in task manager, Outlook.exe is still running. We end the task and reopen Outlook and Send/Receive completes successfully.
We recently installed ESET NOD32 Anti-Virus on close to 50 user's PCs and this user is the only one that is having an issue with Outlook. Her pst and ost files are smaller than most of our users so I don't suspect that to be the problem.
Event Log shows Outlook Error 30 and Error 26, but I've seen these same errors on other User's event logs as well.
Other than running Office Diagnostics and reviewing the Outlook Addins, are there any other suggestions on what may be causing this issue?
Thank you!
