No Word icon for docx file in Windows 7 Explorer

I have a desktop machine and it is been installed with Windows 7. I use MS Office 2007. The problem is that in the Explorer I am not able to see any of the word file in with Word Icon. I have no idea for the same. Please help me out so that I can make the change that is essential and necessary which will help me out to get the issue to be sorted and show up the icon that is needed. Hope to get a proper solution for the same.

You need to check out by getting access to the start menu and then to the control panel option. Now as it is been done you need to look out by choosing Default programs and then you need to associate file type or protocol with a program. I hope this will be better and you can then make the change which will be better for you and get it functioned as needed. Do look out for the thing and process.

There is another way through which you can make the desired thing to be processed. All you need to do is to check out by clicking on Change Display settings and then on the Advanced settings on the lower left check out for List all modes. This will be found on the adapter tab of the properties sheet. Now you need to change one of the mode with 16 bit. Now click on Ok. Do check out.

I suppose you need to reinstall the application that is MS office 2007. It will be then processing well as needed. try to reinstall the application and then look out for the change.
