Office 2007 is not compatible with windows 7

Hello,
I have the copy of office suite 2007, the problem is that this software is not compatible with windows7 which is on my laptop. I've also tried to put the key of activation on the evaluation version of Office on this laptop, and again the key is rejected. I think that office 2007 is not compatible with windows 7. But I am not sure if it is so! Can you please help me with this? Thank you.

Office 2007 is fully compatible with Win7, whatever the supply and license. Board is totally independent of Windows on license. Specifically what can you say that your license is "not compatible" Win7? You have an error message telling you the explicit? I think you do not have the genuine copy of the software and so the activation key is not working.

Actually the computer that I bought is with windows7, so I think that it is enabled. Moreover, I just run the downloaded software package for installation, I have included the activation of key data, and the software. I note that this software package allowing to install office2007 professional, is supposed to work with windows xp and vista. Finally, surely idealistic, I have tried to put the activation key that I know for the evaluation version of this on the laptop, bust still it is not working.

To begin verifies that your Windows is activated. It's not true actually bought a computer. Right click the desktop => properties => at the bottom of page. You've got an error message or anything else? If so it would help if you tell us hear from you. "Definitely related to Windows7" it's no good and it does not help to understand your problem. However there is a good chance why was your problem comes from there. It is likely that it is not possible to use your preinstalled version. The best would be to fetch a CD / DVD installation of Office2007 order to install it directly.

Here is the error message that I get
An error occurred during the installation of Microsoft Office Professional 2007.
Error 1706 Setup can not find the required file.
Check your connection to the network, or CD-ROM drive.

I'll try to uninstall the evaluation version before placing the pack in 2007 with a cd / dvd. I must either be particularly zero or tired, because I am completely without a solution for this.

It's just that the evaluation version does not include software that matches your license. Next Permits Office installs as outel Application: Word, Excel, OneNote, Publisher, etc. If you apply a license type X you must install software that can match this license. But I doubt that you have preinstalled files for a standard license educative

You've found the solution? I exact same problem. Was it the trial version which blocked? And if so, how to delete and I can not find.
