    Silverlight 4 & Netflix - streaming errors

I have done the installation of Silverlight 4 within the Mac/Safari 4.0.5, I can't stream any media from the Netflix. it assumes that Silverlight 4 suggests an error condition that occurs the video to either 1) fail to start; 2) start for some seconds and then after get failed. The Silverlight 4 log entry is attached.

I though, it can be fixed to uninstallation and I also have tried to do the same and finished the uninstallation/reinstallation of the Silverlight 4 plugin, but that doesn't make any effect.Do you all have any idea about this ...

Hi Cherkasov, Would you provide some information about the workaround of your because that would be feasible for us to measure the issue. How about different browsers? For instance, how about the situation when you work with the Firefox on macintosh operating system? What is your Silverlight Rumtime's edition ? Are you working with the Silverlight 4 RTM and as well as about different Silverlight-enabled applications? Can they work?

I also had several errors and issues when working with the Firefox, IE 8 on the Netflix site when using to watch the movies online. Netflix site occurred me the warnings message about my privacy configuration in the Firefox and IE 8 ,that had never occurred before updating to SL4. The only fix, that maintains my privacy configuration and my capability to watch the movies online, was to delete the SL4 and reinstallatition of SL3. I kept an previously SL3 exe--a practice I started with the online applications before years. When I done the re-installation of SL3, I could get the Netflix movies without any prior issues .

I also unable to play Netflix Watch Instantly components running on my Windows 7 Ultimate x64 enabled system with the Silverlight 4 installed whether I work with the IE 8, Firefox 3.6.6, or Chrome 5.0.375.99. And because of some bad luck, even the Silverlight installer on Netflix's site currently indicates for a Silverlight 4 instance and just as pasca1228, I kept an previously released Silverlight 3 installer around and was go for the installation that so that I can watch Netflix Instantly components .

Just go through the following steps and complete the changes .

    1. Move to Windows Update Settings and replace the same from “Automatically install updates” with the “Download updates and ask me when to install” (otherwise silverlight will perform the re-installation of itself )
    2. Exit from your web browser
    3. Move to Control Panel => Uninstall the program -> Remove Silverlight
    4. Visit on the netflix.com and continue streaming of movie. this will come up with you to visit for the Microsoft's official site and install the Silverlight Version 3.
    5. Restart the current browser and it should go fine . Just assumed as feasible for me running with Windows 7.
