I think there should not be anything problematic while installing the Turbo C++ on your 64 bit Vista system. I think the executable by which you are trying to install would be having some problem. I suggest you to use the same EXE file to install thus software on some other computer system on which 64 bit Vista has been installed. By doing this, you would get confirmed that there is nothing wrong with the file.

You must be knowing that the Tubro C++ 4.5 is a compiler tool which is used for compiling the programs. I have checked the this software's compatibility on Vista Compatibility Center and there was no information which means that it might support on your operating system or it might not. I suggest you to install 32 bit version of Vista and then check that this program works or not. If you are getting any kind of error messages while installing it then please mentioned it as well.

First of all remove the Turbo C++ tool from the start menu by running Windows installer cleanup utility. After removing the tool, install the program in the Windows XP compatibility mode for which you have to right click on the Turbo C++ setup file. Then go to its properties by right clicking and switch to the Compatibility tab. Then choose for the “Run this program in compatibility mode for:” and select “Windows XP(Service Pack 2)”. Now install the program and then restart the system.

I think the setup file by which you are trying to install the Turbo C++ on your vista operating system would be having some problem with it. I suggest you to use some other setup file on the same machine and check that it works or not. I guess this kind of problem happens when you get the setup files from an infected systems.
