iTunes and Kaspersky

I have just received the iPhone which is gifted by my brother and I don't like iTunes for windows vista with a passion, but seriously it annoys me is the podcast downloading. iTunes is capable and has complete access and allow to do what ever it requires to do, but podcasts fail to download whenever I issue it to that... unless I suspend Kaspersky. If I terminate the Kaspersky from the process and all of the thing going well (or as fine as itunes can be)..Any suggestion how to accomplish all these things ..

You can fix this problem with the help of following suggestion. Just give it a try at least :

1. Removing and re-associated entire applicable permissions that itunes required for in training mode
2. Perform the uninstalling/reinstalling itunes (Alternate solution)

These are the basic troubleshoot and I think, it can help you to solve this issue. Just give it a try and post the result what you are getting actually..

I need some basic information here. Which one version of Kaspersky you are using currently ? I have some primary suggestion to sort out this issue such as try to add iTunes to trusted application.

Add the both itunes.exe and ituneshelper.exe to the trusted applications with the help of respective way Settings->trusted zone/settings->threats and exclusions->trusted zone with the option "Do not scan network traffic" checked. Does this perform then in the proper way ?

iTunes is always seems a big stuck on windows vista, to the extent of not capable to reliably read files on NTFS partitions for stored video and images, this is still not sure that it is just because of the incapability of vista or iTunes . I have had to replace my entire videos to a thumbdrive to send them under itunes.

I would not blame to the Kaspersky because it was an itunes problem of support as far as windows Vista is concerned iTunes could be recognized as malware and blah blah .. I would agree with KAV for flagging this as like ! Disabling KAV allows the traffic. I will try and perform it and hope if it can be proved for you as a helpful information .
