CS5 upgrade messed up the Acrobat 9

My computer is running the Windows XP operating system with 1 GB RAM ans Core2Duo processor. I am using Acrobat 9 from quite a long time in this same system. Well, I have done an upgradation of CS5. The problem that I am facing is that CS5 upgrade messed up the Acrobat 9. There are unusual lines where the checkboxes used to be. There are also lines through the words on the PDF. Kindly help me in this situation.

There is no need to worry if CS5 upgrade messed up the Acrobat 9. The cause of the situation is that there must have been some error while the upgradation was done because of which the applications are conflicting with each other. You need to do the upgradation again by degrading to the older version. I hope that this will solve the problem that you are encountering with the PDF files.

I think that there are some bugs with the new version , that is CS5 because of which CS5 upgrade messed up the Acrobat 9. So, I dont think that the issue can be fixed unless and until a genuine solution is released by the officials.

So, it will be better if you report about the problem that you are facing to the officials. Their solution will surely remove the problem between the 2 applications.

It is always recommended that the upgradation of the applications and operating systems must be avoided. The reason is that the problems that are existing in the older versions will be passed on to the newer ones. I suggest you to install a new version of this application. You must remove the older version completely and only after that, install the new version.

Re: CS5 upgrade messed up the Acrobat 9

I have removed the upgraded version of CS5 from my system. This is because I have downloaded a completely new copy of the latest version, that has been released. I was surprised when the new installation did not cause any problems, as I was facing in the one that was there when the upgradation was done. Anyways, thanks for all the comments and suggestions that you guys have provided.
