How to skin an Utorrent Toolbar

I am using uTorrent as my torrent client on my windows 7 operating system and i want to make some changes in the look and feel of this torrent client. Actually i have used this application for so much time but i just came to know that i can change the skin of uTorrent Toolbars so i just though to do the same. Can anybody tell me how to skin an Utorrent Toolbar?

If you just want to change the skin for your uTorrent's toolbar then you have to make changes in the toolbar.bmp which is a 288x24 Windows bitmap. It is in the %AppData%\uTorrent and it replaces the toolbar running across the top of the main µT window. It's made up of 12 24x24 bitmaps placed right next to each other (with no whitespace in between) in the same order as they appear in the toolbar. If the dimensions are incorrect, µTorrent will still attempt to create the toolbar, but some graphic problems might occur (for example, the text in the search box not being totally readable).

I would be suggesting you to directly visit an official website of an uTorrent where they have provided the different tab for the skin where you can find many themes or you may say skins for your uTorrent. But make sure that you are downloading the skin for the same version which you have installed on your computer system.

I have gone through the skins provided on an official website of uTorrent and have found that they have huge number of skins differentiated as per the Toobar, Status Icons, Tab Icons and Program Icons. Some of my favorite toolbar skins are Vista.revamp, Simple Dark, µCore, BitComet Knock-Off, vista style colour, KJMIKE, Cracked Neon, The Simpsons Blue, Matrix. But please note that these all skins are for 1.5 version of uTorrent.

Go to the µTorrent skins page and have a look around. Once you've found a skin you like, click the Download Now button. Copy the file to %AppData%\uTorrent (paste this path into Explorer), then restart µTorrent.)µTorrent has a number of 'hidden' options (not accessible from the Preferences menu) for customizing and skinning the program. First of all go to an uTorrent's website and download the desired toolbar from the “Skin Browser”. If you are using windows xp then you have to go to C:/Documents and SettingsUsernameApplication DatauTorrent. If you want to locate the correct folder in some other version of the windows then press start menu and type %AppData%uTorrent in Run's search field. Now save it and then restart your uTorrent.
