Kodak esp 3 setup.exe file will not run

My computer is running Windows 7 operating system with 2 GB RAM and Corei7 processor. The printer that I have connected to my system is only able to work as an explicit system. This means that I am not able to use it along with the computer. Also, the Kodak esp 3 setup.exe file will not run. So, the main issue is that the software is not able to install, If I can get the software installed somehow, then i can make the printer to work with my computer.

All possible suggestions and replies on this topic are duly appreciated.

If the Kodak esp 3 setup.exe file will not run, then simply uninstall the device, if it is already installed. After that, download the correct drivers for the same from the internet, that is with respect to the Windows 7 operating system. It will be better if you get the drivers from the official site of KODAK. I hope that the problem will be solved after that. All the best.

Hello there, first of all, run the hardware and software evaluation tool in your system. This is a wizard that lists all the components installed in your system sorted out in the format of the compatibilities and incompatibilities. Now, get rid of all the incompatibilities that are shown by this tool. Now, try to install this software. Just let me know if the issue persists.

I think that the operating system is not allowing you to start the setup and this simply the reason why Kodak esp 3 setup.exe file will not run. This blockage is because of security reasons.

Such sorts of security blockages can be bypassed when you start the setup forcefully, with the help of the Run as Administrator option. I can assure you that this method works because I have used to it to solve many such problems in my system with Windows 7.

Re: Kodak esp 3 setup.exe file will not run

Have you done a clean install of the Windows 7 operating system or have you done an upgradation? It is always suggested that one must never do an upgradation, but a clean install. This is because the problems of the older operating system come along in the new installation too. So, if you have done an upgradation, then the situation of Kodak esp 3 setup.exe file will not run is being caused because of that. You need to do a clean install for running this software in your system.

I have forced the Kodak esp 3 setup.exe file to run with the help of the run as administrator option. After the installation too, it was not able to start. This was an incompatibility problem. I then, set the operating system in the compatibility mode with the help of the troubleshoot compatibility option. Everything is working fine now. Thank you for all your replies.
