Winamp volume setup with Logitech G15 media keys

I have a Logitech G15 gaming keyboard. It is a nice gaming keyboard. I am facing some issue with this keyboard while using it with Winamp. I am not able to control the volume buttons with it. The keyboard functions wells on other tools and services. But the same does not function properly on Winamp. Also there are some missing keystrokes in the keyboard.

Here is the way by which my Logitech G15 keyboard works. I had enable the Hotkey settings in Winamp and after that the keys are enabled. You have to enter the preference settings of Winamp and click on Global Hotkeys. There you can tick the first option on the windows for enabling the multimedia keyboard. Once done restart Winamp and then check back.

I am here using a NM Monitor plugin with the keyboard and that works well in my system. It also works with Logitech Media Display so that makes it quiet easy to use. You can get a properly plugin for the same and with that you can configure the keyboard. You can setup the master volume with that. Most of the time that work or else re-install the keyboard back again.

It is a nice keyboard with a pad on the left side and some 18 extra function keys. So this makes the keyboard much functional . I had also configured the soft key properly without any issue. There are around 54 additional different functions which you can easily access. There is a lcd display provided on the keyboard so it is necessary that you must first install it properly.

The multimedia keys have now become a standard for keyboards in the mid-range, and the G15 is logically provided. It adopts the conventional buttons to manage the playback of audio files, but is devoid of buttons dedicated to web and mail (to name a few). Fortunately, this can be remedied by programming additional keys. You must install the same properly first.

The keyboard is nice and the materials and colors used for this keyboard are nice and pretty, yet very simple. I am trying to find out for some utilities that can provide me some proper options by which I can configure each key manually. This keyboard does not comes with the configuration tool so it makes sometime hard to make this work on the system.

If you face issue on the keyboard keys then you can try to replace the port of the keyboard in which you are using this right now. Try to switch the usb port for that and then try back settings. Get some new appropriate drivers for it and check back. If you still find issue with this then you will need to get a replacement for the same. The keys might not be configured properly.
