    Preview next image on Mac

    Hello,
I am a new user to Mac OS X operating system. I have a little problem with photo management under Mac. The problem is that I have some photos which I downloaded from my friends skype account. Now I double click on the image and the image preview is opened. The problem is that I can not navigate the images with left and right arrow key, that is I can not go to the next image. How to fix this? Also, if you know any other software for photo management under Mac then please let me know. Thank you for your help.

What is the application you are using to manage photos? I think you should go with the iPhoto image management software. You must import images into iPhoto, then select them and choose 'export' in the file menu: there you can choose Export as web pages with thumbnails preview. You can also use Gallery to generate web galleries directly to your from your pictures folder or from selection in iPhoto. This freeware is great and very easy to use.

Xee image editing software is free. Xee is a lightweight image viewer with basic functions. When you open an image within editor folder, you can then forward and back buttons through all the images in the same folder with browse. The program has a full screen slideshow, and basic functions. Unfortunately, the navigation via keyboard is not intuitive. To switch between images is not enough, the cursor left or right to use keys, you also must hold down the Command key.

I use the cocviewx and I am satisfied with it. CocoViewX is an image viewer with a lot of additional functions. The program displays the contents of folders with preview pictures on the, enables easy navigation between the images and offers basic file processing options. So you can even rename multiple images, for example, on which the images stored in time to change or rotate pictures. The full-screen view allows easy navigation between the images and provides a mouse-to-use with on-screen menu. An option to select the images allowed simple and rapid sorting.

Viewitem is the only non-free program in the many available image management softwares for mac OS X. It offers more features than a mere image viewing software. Besides a nice thumbnail view, functions, brings it to import photos from digital camera and simple editing. The built-in function to create a web album brought the program to crash, however. In general, you realize that it is older program is already.

JustLooking is a simple image viewer that is a little preview reminded, however, some quirks of preview has not. When you open an image within a folder, you can browse all images in that folder through. The service is great, thanks to extremely easy controls. In the slide show transitions are sometimes a bit sluggish. Switching off effects from this, the slideshow works smoothly. Thumbnails you can watch in its own window.

I use the CocoviewX and it is really a good software. A special feature of the program is the export function. So you can use all images in a folder marked with round corners, adjust the size and quality, and the like. CocoViewX can insert the memory card a camera to import images too.The program offers more functionality than a simple image viewer, but it is much easier and more intuitive to use as a photo management program like iPhoto.
