How to join 2 AVI files with different sampling rates

Hello everyone, my computer is running Windows XP operating system. I am searching for some techniques that will help me to on how to join 2 AVI files with different sampling rates. Also, the sizes of the 2 files are different. I am not able to find any tools or softwares from the internet that will help me to go about it. So, if anyone has any information about the same, then please reply as soon as possible.

Simply follow the steps that are mentioned below to join 2 AVI files with different sampling rates:

1. The first AVI file has to be opened.
2. Then, the video has to be set to "direct stream copy".
3. After that, the audio has to be set to "full processing mode".
4. Next, the compression has to be changed to MP3.
5. Now, the appropriate bit rate has to be selected.
6. Finally, the file has to be saved.
7. The above steps have to be repeated for the second AVI file too.
8. This will help you to merge the 2 files together.
