VOBEdit help ??
Hello guys,
I am running with some VOB's that I need to demux out the AC3 and change the Video stream to .m2v (for Maestro). I have tried so many software but not satisfied with that. So, I decided to go for the related software with this format and then I tried to use VOBEdit, but it seems to only choose one VOB at a time. Does anyone know how to use this software or is there something best to do this ? Any ideas..
Thanks.......

VOBEdit help ??
OK, I am getting you are using VOBedit. With this software, you need to open the first VOB in the sequence that you also treated as a movie file on the DVD as usually VTS_01_1.VOB.
If you are going to demux then there are some settings that you need to configure that could help you. When you DEMUX then there will be a "Demux complete titleset" toggle. Just set that and it will demux the entire movie.

VOBEdit help ??
I have so many VOB files stored on my hard disk and separate in movie clips, and need author a DVD with chapter Menu (using TMPGEnc DVD Author 2). Before authoring I need to demux VOB files. I followed the suggestion given by Jonothon, it is possible demux with VobEdit. I have used it earlier but this is not working for me, I am going something wrong way.
Should I first rename my all VOB files to VTS_01_001.VOB, VTS_01_002.VOB, etc?
I just open filename.vob in VobEdit, and then clicked on 'Demux' button, in "Dialog" prompt selected "Demux multiple streams at once" => check 'Demux all Video streams', 'Demux all Audio streams'=> OK. After all, I located the folder to save, in 'Save As' dialog the file name displays as "VTS_01_001.n", in 'Save as type:' Audio Files (*.ac3), then click Save, but it does not continue the process anymore. How to demux VOBs properly ? Where I am going wrong ???

VOBEdit help ??
There are something going wrong with your files. There is no anything going wrong with your procedure, you are going well but It can be called as some compatibility issues and Usually you would open the IFO file, that would suggest you whatever software you are using and what the VOB structure was.

Converting VOB file using DVDLab Studio
I just got one after a long search that is named as DVD-Lab Studio which will import DVD VOB files, and after choosing the first option (Join and Demultiplex to Elementary Streams etc.) in the VOB Files window that displays, the important ES video and ES audio files were generated. I then was able to add subtitles and menus. There were associated files brought into the software other than the ES video and ES audio files. I think, these are the menus, etc. On the imported DVD that cannot be used in DVD Lab, or at least cannot be brought back into the software. As I have a project where I need to add subtitles to an previous stored DVD, this will allow me to do it, and I will just have to add my own menu's once in the authoring software. If there are good methods, I would appreciate knowing them.

VOBEdit help ??
You are unable to get any quality difference because such type of process does not alter the video and/or audio stuff but only divides them. Your work flow is going well but you may encounter the problem if the source VOB file has many movies. In such scenario, Entire movies will be combined together. To demux each movies into a another pair of streams you can use VOBEdit or PGCDemux (the latter only if you also have the corresponding IFO files).
