    Duel Wallpaper??

    Hi everyone here,

Today I have just installed Duel monitor, And I am wondering that how to run with different wallpaper for each one monitor, cause right now all its doing is having the same one on both and I need to have one half of a large one on the left and the other half on the second right side but it just clones the same wallpaper to both. I am using Catalyst ATI. Any idea about this procedure ????

Having different wallpaper on each desktop

When you put the any wallpaper on your computer desktop with a dual-monitor installation environment , you end up with the similar wallpaper on those desktops. However, It can get monotonous. You will be happy to be aware that we have searched a way that you can put various types of wallpaper on every desktop that is connected as one by creating a huge image and stretching it across both desktops. One thing needs to have in your mind that this way is like that you are running the same resolution on both your monitors.

    Duel Wallpaper??

For starting the procedure, you will require to create or locate two graphic images that you need to use to put as a wallpaper on your desktops. Logically, each image should have similar size according to your screen resolution. For instance, if the screen resolution on both desktops is 800 x 600, every image should also be 800 x 600. However, if the image is smaller, you can launch Paint, create an 800 x 600 image and use the Paste From command to copy your image into the big file, and then easily center it in a broad image.

Once you have done the creation or allocating your images,Open the Paint from windows accessories. Then drag down the Image using menu and choose the Attributes command. When you got the Attributes dialog box, double the width of your screen resolution and type that value in the Width text box for adjustment of the image.

    Duel Wallpaper??

I am going to investigate a procedure that would be helpful for you to adjust the images that you need to put on your desktop.

Figure A: You can adjust the double width of your desktop in the Attributes dialog box. So now drag down the Edit menu and choose the Paste From command. When the Paste from dialog box shows, choose the size settings as 800 x 600 for image that you need to show that on the left monitor and then after click on Open. Once you done the paste procedure for image into the size as 1600 x 600 of image, you should go to use for the bottom scrollbar to scroll entire method to the right side of the image. Now you need to use the Paste From command to paste the second 800 x 600 image in the 1600 x 600 image. You may have to adjust the position on the left edge of the second image so that it meets the right edge of the first image. For making completion of such operation and decrease the file size of the image, save your latest wallpaper as a GIF file rather than a BMP file.

Figure B: You need to save your latest big wallpaper image as a GIF file to reduce its size. Once you completed the saving of file procedure ,exit from the Paint application , right-click on the desktop, and choose Properties from the shortcut menu. When the Display Properties dialog box shows, click on the Background tab. Then click on the Browse button and specify your broad wallpaper image. Once you completed , chances are good that you would not look at your image in the preview monitor as you commonly would. To continue, choose Tile in the Display dropdown list and then click on OK button. When you do so, you will get another wallpaper image on every desktop.

    Duel Wallpaper??

Multi-monitor displays are going more common. Computers is going so capable in these days that we can move with several applications at a time than we have monitor space for. So if you need to try it then it’s time to upgrade to a dual-monitor display. The current problem is that you will consider is that the wallpaper shows the same image on both of the display. It is especially annoying when you have a laptop and a another monitor, each running at separate resolutions, because the second screen will have a “squashed” version of the picture.
