Bootable usb stick for MAC Air

    Hello,
Today I spent the entire day getting Windows 7 USB stick on my eeePC 1008HA to install. That did not work. UNetbootin Eventually I found the program with which I got Ubuntu on the stick, I could the stick then install Ubuntu on 9:10. So now I have Linux on it, WLan does not work, is not a LAN. Help about this: Intstallire package xyz. I can not install packages, since I have no Internet. I have a CD drive to boot any CD or something to use no. UNetbootin I have now tested under Linux does not work. To start the error message that I should install the package p7zip. Do you know any programs for the Mac that? Any help on this appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    Hello,
The problem is Windows, which from memory stick to boot have like USB one not, I guess I am correct here. There are probably attempts in the direction that I have not pursued further because a lot of work looked like. Even I had searched for some time but this does not work. If you have any idea then please post back.

    Hello,
Lend a USB drive you somewhere and everything will be fine ... Otherwise, get yourself someone with a Windows machine and kill the there. There are opportunities as it does on Mac OS. What prevents you from installing the package unetbootin what to ask? Respectively, there are also better adapted versions of Ubuntu, maybe you should try these times.

    Hello,
Windows can be run from a USB stick. There is even an extra program for Windows that takes image and USB stick bootable and should make. This works but only in Windows Vista. There are thousands of Windows programs, the removable media with all possible make bootable world. Is with me now, but unfortunately too late, as I have Windows XP with Ubuntu replaced mine.

    Hello,
Buy yourself a SATA, ATA, 3 "5 and 2" 5 "USB Adapte. Take an old DVD Rom and you have an external boot drive. Have I made my MSI so when. Everything else has failed. Windows install from USB .... it was a cramp, there was the most impossible failure. After I have installed a DVD that was all finished in 30 minutes. The day that I and impossible tools under Windows I have tried the stick before making Bootable USB one and then to had failed to install a system.
