    Antispam in Kaspersky 2010 not detecting anything

    The Antispam in Kaspersky 2010 not detecting anything after I have done the upgradation of the operating system from Windows Vista to Windows 7. I am not able to understand where the problem is because the upgradation had no issues. Also, the installation of this antivirus had completed successfully. I am using Outlook 2007. Please help me with suitable suggestions to solve this issue.

    Check for the compatibility

    I guess that you first need to check for the compatibility with respect to the antivirus and the operating system, if the Antispam in Kaspersky 2010 not detecting anything. This particular feature may be not supported in this particular platform if there are any kind of conflicts. So, use the hardware and software evaluation tool and look out if this antivirus is listed among the compatibilities of the operating system or not.

    Antispam does not start automatically

    You need to remember that the Antispam in Kaspersky 2010 not detecting anything is not any kind of issue that you are facing. This is because the Antispam does not start automatically, when the mails are received. You need to start it manually to scan the mails. There are 2 steps or rules to do the same. Kaspersky itself will guide about the same. There is no need to worry about that.

    Reinstall Kaspersky 2010

    If Antispam in Kaspersky 2010 not detecting anything, then I suppose that the antivirus may not be installed in the system properly. The only solution that will help you in this situation is that you need to reinstall Kaspersky 2010. Some sort of unexpected error might have occurred, that must not have been alerted to you by the system. Make sure that you do not run any other applications or programs while the installation is going on.

    Antispam in Kaspersky 2010 works fine

    The Antispam in Kaspersky 2010 works fine and I am using the same in my system with the Windows 7 operating system. Actually, this antivirus and its features worked like a charm. So, if Antispam in Kaspersky 2010 not detecting anything, then there may be some problem in the setup of the antivirus software. I suggest you to try installing the antivirus from another setup, so that the issue may be hopefully solved.

    I had the same problem that the Antispam in Kaspersky 2010 was not detecting anything. But, the issue is solved now. just follow the steps given below:
    1. Click on Tools in Microsoft Outlook.
    2. There, go to Options.
    3. Now, go to the tab saying Antispam.
    4. The option called Use Microsoft Office Outlook rule has to be disabled.
