gent 0.1.6 is not able to respond

Hello. I have a desktop machine and it is been installed with Windows 7 operating system. I have no idea what could have been the issue but I have an application that is gent 0.1.6 and it is not able function well with the system. Please do help me out so that I can make the application to get acted well with the system. it would be a great help. Thank you.
