Office2007 does replace Office2003 in XP Start menu

I installed Office 2007 on XP. But my Start Menu displays Outlook 2003, and if I select Outlook in the Start Menu, I get the old outlook which does not work.

How do I replace my startup menu with newly installed version?

This seems that the Office 2003 is not completely uninstalled from your system that is why you are still getting the office outlook 2003. Try to repair the installation of the Office 2007. If that also does not work for you then first you need to uninstall the office with the Your Uninstaller which will remove the complete office from your system and the install the lean office suit.
