itunes issues

I'm currently getting unknown component verify that you have access to key errors. I have tried every idea I have found on the net. I have uninstalled and reinstalled four or five times, cleaned registries, scanned for viruses.. you name it. Can someone please help me? I'm desperate at this point. I'd give up but without itunes my ipod is a 300$ rocks. Cripes, I'm almost to the point of creating a recovery disc and reformatting my harddrive.
