MS Groove 2007 Profile

Hi

I recently had my computer reformatted and am in the process of importing my Groove account profile, however it asks me for a password and I definately didn't setup a password with this account profile. I had the same issue a couple of years ago and I had to create a new profile so I made sure that there was no password involved.

I can't start again as I'm the only one with access to all sites for our team.

I would really appreciate help on this

As you have not set the password for this profile and still the system is prompting for password, you can try the following steps and see if it works. On the Groove logon screen, locate the "Forgot your password" or "Forgot your passphrase" link and click on it. If there was no password hint question set, then the password reset request will automatically be sent. If the password hint is set then You will see the password hint question. If the question does not help in remembering password, then click on the Password reset request button and follow the onscreen instructions.

Hi Eric
Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately I don't get the "forgot password" link or anything similar. All i get is a box to enter in the password.
Any thoughts?
