    Lightscribe support for operating systems

Where does I can get easily the CD and DVDs which I can use for lightscribe. What are the operating system which supports the lightscribe. I think this is not suitable to use on some old computes. Does this work on mac also and what about using the same on a external case. How to update the light scribe software and where to check if I had connected a lightscribe drive external.

LightScribe-facilitated optical drives are obtainable as peripherals and plug-in replacement drives for your existing computer. Or you can buy a new computer with a LightScribe-facilitated optical drive. There is no consumer kit to renovate a non-LightScribe optical drive to a LightScribe-facilitated drive. Yes, the data side will work as it always has. But LightScribe discs cannot be labeled in a non-LightScribe drive.

There is an simple way to know if your CD/DVD writer has Light Scribe competence or facility. If the drive shelf that opens, closes and holds the disc has the Light Scribe name/logo on it (the word Light Scribe is part of the logo), then your drive has the Light Scribe competence or facility. If there is no logo on the CD/DVD writer then your drive does not have the Light Scribe competence or facility.
