Hello there, GXGPRS is actually a set of media component, that is open source. It is a freeware and has a file size of just 2.95 MB. Access, Delphi, Visual Basic, Java or Visual C++ are the different tools with which GXGPRS can be used with. It has a very simple and flexible interface and hence it can be used even by the inexperienced people. It is developed by Gurux Ltd.

Thank you for providing information on GXGPRS. This tool seems to be of great use and the best part of it is that it is free. I am going to download the same. I just have one query remaining. If I upgrade my system to Windows 7, the will it work in that operating system after the upgradation. Kindly provide suitable solutions and thank you once again in advance.

    Re: What is GXGPRS

Since, GXGPRS does not support Windows 7 operating system, it will not work directly in the operating system. You will have to set it in the compatibility mode after you have done the installation of the software. There are 2 methods to do this. One is to let the system detect the errors that the application is having when it runs in the operating system and the other is to specify the problems by yourself, that you are finding when the particular application or program runs.

Yes, GXGPRS is developed by Gurux, and they have a pretty comprehensive documentation about this connection component at their developer network. It's open to all browsers. They do have a community, too, but browsing the documents does not require registering!
    Documentation is found at
